Boyce Thompson Arboretum-March 13th

So, because I had 2 days off for spring break, I wanted to go somewhere instead of being at home the entire time. With a quick chat with the parents, we decided to go to BT Arboretum on Thursday and then head up North to Jerome on Friday and stay the night. Good plan.
Thursday morning, my mom packed a light lunch (egg & chorizo burritos), harnessed the doggies and waited on Grandma to finish getting ready. But soon we were on our way!
BT Arboretum is about an hour's drive right outside of Superior. Because of construction on the road, it took us a little longer than expected but we made it there by lunchtime and after paying admission, we had our quick lunch and then headed inside the arboretum. It was a warm day but still nice weather. We had a very good time walking around and the dogs enjoyed the long walk.

Nice and peaceful.

Grandma hanging out in the herb garden. She likes it here. Really.

My mom doing a quick pose on the suspension bridge over Queen Creek.

Another cool shot of the bridge.

It was a good day and driving back was even better after stopping in Superior for some Blizzards at the local DQ.
